1) Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address or phone number depending on login method, user ID, and profile data you choose to share.
- Profile and matching data: answers to onboarding questions, preferences, and matching-related signals to help you find similar users.
- Messages, if chat exists: messages you send or receive are stored to provide chat features.
- Audio / microphone data: the App may request microphone permission. We do not access the microphone without your permission.
- Referral data: referral codes or invite parameters, such as
?ref=, to attribute referrals and rewards.
- Device and usage information: app interactions, crash logs, performance data, device model, and OS version to improve stability and security.
2) How we use information
- Provide core features, including account login, profiles, matching, chat, and referrals.
- Improve and debug the App, fix crashes, improve performance, and detect abuse.
- Operate rewards or referrals, verify invites, prevent fraud, and grant eligible rewards.
- Display ads and measure ad performance where applicable.
- Enforce rules, prevent spam or fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3) Microphone permission
The App may request access to your microphone. We will ask for your permission before using the microphone. If you do not grant permission,
the App will still work, but microphone-based features may be unavailable.
- You can revoke microphone access anytime in Android Settings → Apps → Same2U → Permissions.
- If we add or change audio features in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
4) Sharing and third-party services
We may share data with trusted third-party providers to operate the App:
- Firebase / Google: Authentication, Database or Firestore, Cloud Storage, Analytics, and crash reporting where enabled.
- Advertising partners, such as Google AdMob: to show ads and measure ad performance.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
5) Data retention
- We keep your account and matching data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- We may retain certain data for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
6) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure. Please keep your account and device secure.
7) Children’s privacy
Same2U is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. If you believe a child has provided personal data,
please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8) Your choices
- Permissions: you can grant or revoke permissions in device settings.
- Account deletion: you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
- Opt-out of marketing: if you receive promotional emails, you can unsubscribe where applicable.
9) International users
Your information may be processed on servers located in different countries, for example, where Firebase infrastructure runs.
We take steps to protect your data consistent with this policy.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top. If changes are significant,
we may provide additional notice in the App.
